The work
I worked with Riot Games’ European esports hub to deliver two annual Season Review magazines, filled to the brim with on-brand copy, design, and rigorously fact-checked information for a wide and varied audience.
Through 2021 and 2023, I worked with Riot Games’ competitive operations team in Berlin, Germany to produce annual magazine-sized reports based on Riot’s esports initiatives in the EMEA region.
Two 80+ page editorial-led books were produced following the conclusion of each year, where I led a small team to design, subedit, and deliver to tight deadlines.
The final products were distributed online and in-person at League of Legends European Championship events throughout the year, with praise from government officials and esports leaders.
In a nutshell:
- Creative direction, incl. photo selection, art direction, vector creation
- Copywriting, editing, and sub-editing
